5. You’ll Experience a Genuine Connection, Not Just Chemistry
Chemistry – accounts for the ability to get along with each other.
Connection – deep and genuine connection where two people develop a bond. You accept their layers and enjoy simply being in their space. It’s like two spirits recognizing their counterpart.
BE YOURSELF!
Façade – portraying who they believe they need to be, rather than who they are.
Don’t pretend to be someone you’re not just to get a man that isn’t meant for you. Trust me, they are not it if you feel the need to change your beliefs, your values, your morals, and overall your personality.
They are not worth it. You are worth SO MUCH more than that.
Just don’t do this. Be yourself. If they can’t accept you for you – thank you, next.
Don’t pretend to enjoy parts of him – even sex.
Listen… I’ve been with a guy that was the best I’ve ever had (as Drake would put it) however, it was pure chemistry and no connection, so that relationship failed.
I’ve been with someone where sex wasn’t the best but I pretended that it was amazing. However, I was missing out and not getting pleased. Eventually, sex did get better but by that time came around, I wasn’t being honest in that relationship and it failed.
“You can’t go into potential relationships holding back who you are because you’ll sabotage the situation.”
Self-sabotage is the real enemy in any relationship. For some awful reason we believe that we don’t deserve all the good things, our standards are too high, our self-esteem is non-existent, our self-love is empty. Sometimes we believe it’s too good to be true. This is where we need to take a step back and recollect.
This is something I have struggled with because I always tend to keep my walls high. Guarding my heart against fear, anger, negative energy and etc… This is the time wherein the relationship between the two of us needs to take the time to sit, talk and vibe together. Road Trip?
If there’s no genuine connection – they drag things along and let things pile up until one day it completely explodes and they can’t keep it together anymore.
So, this happened to me. Our connection became nonexistent to the point where out of the blue the words that can’t be taken back or unsaid rolled out of his tongue, ending our relationship.
It’s important to get to know who you are, love who you are, and show the world you’re a beautiful soul. The man that is for you, who truly loves you, and wants to form a real connection, will embrace that person – you.
Stop being someone you’re not just to get the man you think is right for you… trust me, if he’s the man for you, you wouldn’t have to change a thing about yourself.
as always
with much love,
