4. He Wants a Helpmate, Not a Playmate
There’s nothing wrong with breaking off a relationship when you are not gaining what you need out of it.
You don’t have to wait for him to change. Don’t waste your time on someone that has shown you his character. Some men are after one thing, and one thing only, sex.
Boys look for playmates, while men desire a helpmate.
Lies, unwillingness to commit, disrespect, and other negative behaviors are not signs of a man who is serious about being with you.
These are important signs that he doesn’t want to have you in their life as a wife. They’re wasting your time.
These boys will take advantage of you.
They will lie, even the smallest of lies – so disrespectful. Boys will lie to get what they want. It could be just sex, or it could be your energy, your money, your willingness, your compassion, your time, your effort. It could be anything that doesn’t involve loyalty to you.
“Let’s just go with the flow…
Let’s not stress things..
or overanalyze…”
this. is. just. bullshit.
Whenever a man wants to “go with the flow,” just be his friend.
Stop waiting for Him to be ready.
If he’s keeping you around just to keep you around for his pleasures, saying he’s not ready for a relationship or he’s not ready to settle down, this just means you’re not the one for him and he clearly isn’t the one for you.
I was once in a relationship where he “wasn’t ready” for marriage but he forgot to mention, he wasn’t ready for marriage with me… because a few months later he was engaged to his best friend.
Don’t let mixed signals distract you.
These are easily missed. Ladies, we know those signals, we feel them in our gut, we preach about them to our friends – yet, we allow our compassion, our empathy, and our willingness to turn a blind corner. we’re smarter than that.
Let me just say… how are guys just going to say they don’t want a girlfriend BUTTTT act like a boyfriend? Basically, they want all the treats and rewards that come with having a girlfriend but don’t want the commitment. They still want the freedom to do as they please without any consequences.

PERIODT!
My past relationships would say all these beautiful words to me but their actions were completely opposite. Don’t be fooled by their smooth-talking, their sweet compliments, and those “sweet” gestures.
Just because they posted your hand on their Instagram story, doesn’t mean you’re special to them.
“The actions and words must aligned.”
If their actions and words allegedly align but you still don’t feel like the song Electric by Aina Baraz and Khalid, you should take this as a sign that he’s not the one for you.
